If you’ve been buying gifts online, from retailers like Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Old Navy and Walmart for this Holiday season or if you do a lot of online shopping in general, you’re going to want to take advantage of this amazing new app called Paribus.
Paribus tracks prices on all your online purchases, and once the price drops on the item that you bought, Paribus will request a refund on your behalf! There’s NO work or effort on your part. Just signup and connect your existing email account to get started. Within seconds, you’ll see all the purchases you’ve made across all popular retailers including Target, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and more and compare the price you paid for it to the current price. If the price drops after you made your purchase, Paribus will work on your behalf to get you a refund for the difference! WOW!
How to get your money back:
- Click here to go to Paribus
- Choose Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook to connect your email
- You’ll be prompted to sign into your email account
- Allow the app to track the purchases you’ve made
- Click the “Skip” or share the app to cut the fee to 20%
Note: If the price drops on an item that you bought, Paribus takes 25% (this is how they earn money and are able to keep their company employees working!)
- You’ll be asked to link your Amazon – if you don’t want to, no worries, just skip this step too or set it up later
- Click “Do later” or enter a payment method – this is for when the stores you’ve shopped at give you a refund. Paribus will take 20-25% of that refund. You can also set this up later.

Now sit back and watch Paribus send you alerts for when your item price drops and you’ll get a refund! Do the happy dance!
Paribus is also a nice tool for seeing how much you saved on an item:
Once you’re signed up and logged in: If you click on the “Purchases” tab, you can see all the items you’ve bought within the last 90 days! This is really neat for being able to see what you bought and how much the item is now.
As you can see here, I’m a pretty smart shopper! I paid less than what the price is on most of my items so, so far I haven’t gotten a refund yet because I paid less than what the price is:

Choose
To get started, you’ll have to sign up for a Paribus account (takes only seconds) and connect your mailbox to let the Paribus Receipt Fetcher identify purchases in your inbox. Shop normally and Paribus will find receipts and work to monitor your purchases.
Once Paribus has detected a price drop, they automatically send an email to the retailer requesting a refund. Refunds come directly from the retailer in the form of original payment, a store credit, or a gift card.
An Insider Tip:
Paribus gets paid by taking a little bit from your refund–25% to be exact. As an insider tip, consider referring your friends to get your maximum refund!
